ATTENDANCE POLICY
“Showing up for school has a huge impact on a student’s academic success starting in kindergarten and continuing through high school. Even as children grow older and more independent, families play a key role in making sure students get to school safely every day and understand why attendance is so important for success in school and on the job.”

May 8, 2014, is 5th grade visit day to HB Lee Middle School. Wilkes 5th graders will ride the bus to Lee during the day for building tours and elective forecasting.

Erin Hunter, Author of Bravelands: Blood and Bone, The Warriors Series, and more...will be visiting Troutdale Elementary's 3rd - 5th grade students on Tuesday, October 9th at 8:30 AM. Author/Illustrator Matthew Holm, co-creator of Babymouse and Squish books is coming to Wilkes Elementary School! There will be two special assemblies on Tuesday, May 28.
Auto Dialer
During the year, the school uses the automated phone dialer to inform the H.B. Lee community about upcoming school events.
