Steve Padilla, Director of Communications
Steve Padilla is the Director of Communications for Reynolds School District. He started as the Assistant Director of Public Relations and Partnerships and has been at RSD since October, 2020. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science - Public Service from U.C. Davis and his Master’s Degree in Public Relations from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Steve has extensive experience in creating and maintaining organization's social media pages, events and marketing campaigns. He has managed effective media relations and public information program for organizations. In addition to functioning as the primary media contact, Steve has advised top managers on issues of public and community relations, developed strategies to accomplish organizational objectives, and prepared executive level correspondence and reports. He also coordinated and managed special projects and activities, made presentations to various community groups, and prepared press releases and media alerts.
For over 10 years, Steve served as the Program Manager for Youth Development Services with the Solano County Office of Education in California. There, he created a “shadow day” college preparatory program for under-served youth, implemented a cross-age mentor program for migrant and minority youth, and produced two documentaries; one focused the dangers of teen binge drinking and the other on cyber-bullying.

Janet Novak, Receptionist
Janet Novak is the Reynolds School District Receptionist. She is a highly organized and friendly receptionist with twenty years of experience in customer service and administrative support. Possessing excellent communication skills and a welcoming demeanor, Janet excels at creating a positive and professional first impression for district families, staff, and visitors.
In her role, Janet has demonstrated the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with ease, always striving to provide prompt and accurate information. She is adept at using a range of office software and equipment, including telephone systems, email clients, and scheduling software.
Janet takes pride in providing exceptional customer service to all who enter the office, making them feel valued and respected. She is highly adaptable, able to multitask efficiently, and enjoys working as part of the Communications team to ensure the smooth running of the district office.
With a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, Janet is excited to provide her skills and experience to Reynolds School District, where she can provide excellent customer service and support.
