  • Reynolds School District uses ESS as our Employee Substitute Management System. They can be reached via email at HRwest@ess.com or by phone at (503) 208-7454.

    If you are interested in becoming a substitute for Reynolds School District, visit ESS here and follow the prompts.

    For substitute referrals, you can email HRwest@ess.com with the person's name and contact information and ESS Sub Services will take it from there.

    The REA CBA requires us to publicly post the cost of a sub (the monetary amount for cost of substitute leave will be made public and will be available to members).

    ODE posts the minimum annually.

    Substitute Teacher assignment of 10 days or less and paid by the district:
    Half Day $ 118.13 
    Full day $ 236.26

    Substitute Teacher Assignment > 10 days in any one assignment for the same teacher : $313.81 (RSD BA Step 1 is $59,624.00 / 190 = $313.81)
