Policy Definition
Board policies are approved statements that set forth parameters and frameworks within which the superintendent and their staff can perform their assigned duties with positive direction. Policies describe what is wanted in an area of responsibility. The School Board sets policy.

Administrative Regulation Definition
Administrative Regulations are detailed directions developed by the superintendent to carry out the Board policy. They describe how, by whom, where, and when things are to be done. The superintendent determines Administrative Regulations.
