Managing Human Resource Officer

  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive, equitable, and fiscally responsible offerings.
  • Lead labor and professional negotiations with employee associations, ensuring compliance with laws and alignment with district goals.
  • Manage contract maintenance, ensuring accurate implementation and consistent application of terms.
  • Develop and communicate HR policies in coordination with the Board and executive leadership.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for labor relations with REA and OSEA, fostering collaborative and respectful partnerships.
  • Coordinate association grievance processes, ensuring timely and fair resolution in line with contractual and legal standards.
  • Oversee staff discipline procedures to support employee improvement and accountability.
  • Advise on legal issues, budget impacts, and contract matters related to personnel and labor management

Civil Rights and Title IX Coordinator 

  • Ensure institutional compliance with Title IX, civil rights laws, and anti-discrimination policies.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review related policies to support a fair and inclusive environment.
  • Conduct training for faculty, staff, and students on Title IX, civil rights, and non-discrimination protocols.
  • Receive, investigate, and resolve complaints of discrimination, harassment, or sexual misconduct.
  • Oversee thorough, impartial investigations in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain confidential records of complaints, investigations, and outcomes; produce reports for compliance and assessment.
  • Monitor legal and policy developments to update institutional practices accordingly.
