In the event of an emergency or inclement weather, schools may need to close, delay the start of school, or release students early.
Inclement Weather Information Messages for Parents/Guardians/Community
In the event of inclement weather, school closures or delayed start decisions will typically be made and posted on the District website the night before. When a decision cannot be made the night before, early morning decisions will be determined and shared as soon as possible with staff and families. Details will be communicated to local media (including TV, radio, and newspapers) via FlashAlert. Information is also sent to parents/guardians via ParentSquare.
We encourage and support families to make attendance decisions for your child(ren) based on your own assessment of travel conditions at your location.
