World War II Veterans! 

World War II Veterans, Honor Flight of Portland is looking for you or veterans you know! Honor Flight is a non-profit organization that dedicate their time to giving an all expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. for World War II Veterans so they can see their memorial. Only 1.2% of Oregon WWII Veterans have vistited their memorial through the Honor Flight network.

To get involved, applications can be found on portlandhonorflight.org. Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Donations to sponsor a verteran can also be contributed at portlandhonorflight.org. Volunteering is another way to get involved. In addtion to Honor Flight volunteers and guardian volunteers, Honor flight has volunteer doctors and nurses who travel with them to ensure the trip is a happy and safe experience for everyone. 

Since time is of the essence and only 10% of WWII Veterans who served, are living and able to travel, this will be the last flight the program puts on. Please spread the word to all WWII Veterans you know!
