Oregon PERS

PERS stands for Public Employees Retirement System. This is a state operated pension program for public employees which both Employees and their Employers contribute to. After a six (6) month waiting period, a deduction of 6% of your gross wages will be contributed from your paycheck to your PERS account. Reynolds matches this percentage at 13.84% which funds retirement benefits, death benefits, and administrative expenses. These percentages are determined and updated by the PERS Board every even numbered year going in to effect every odd numbered year.
