The Mission of the RSD School Culture and Climate team is to support RSD schools to transform systems and structures that provide wrap-around supports to promote safe, celebratory, and inclusive school cultures and academic success for ALL Reynolds students.

District Social Worker supports the work of building level social workers and counselors with social work needs including: consultation on mental health needs/concerns, resource requests for housing, basic needs, food, and helps facilitate referrals and connection to local agencies and partners. District social worker is also available for 1-1 or building-level partnership in supporting students with chronic absenteeism, who are involved with the DHS Child Welfare system, or who are McKinney Vento eligible and need an additional layer of support. District Social Workers work in partnership with MTSS TOSAs for Tier 2 and 3 interventions upon request.
