Volunteers Welcome

Parents are welcome to volunteer in Alder Elementary classrooms.  Reynolds School District requires volunteers to be screened.  All volunteers will need to fill out a three-page packet of forms. Forms can be returned to any school.  The district office will notify you and the schools you want to volunteer in when the screening process has been completed.

About Alder Elementary

Alder Elementary is a K-5 school in the heart of the Rockwood community that serves approximately 420 students and their families. We take pride in the diversity of cultures and the more than 20 home languages that our school represents. We offer a Dual Language Spanish-English Program in grades K-5.

Alder Delays/Closures

In the event of an emergency, schools may need to close, delay start or release students early.

Cafeteria doors open at 7:30 am

School doors open at 7:40 am

Late Start Mondays: 8:55 am–2:15 pm
