About Alder Elementary

Alder Elementary is a K-5 school in the heart of the Rockwood community that serves approximately 420 students and their families. We take pride in the diversity of cultures and the more than 20 home languages that our school represents.

We offer a Dual Language Spanish-English Program in grades K-5. Currently our program serves student whose first or dominant language is Spanish.

Our long-standing partnership with Greater Than has supported Alder students to be prepared for post-secondary educational opportunities including college and careers.  Our after-school SUN Program is provided by a partnership with Metropolitan Family Services and provides students with academic support and enrichment.

We have valuable partnerships with many area agencies.
