Cayle Tern
Cayle graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an option in Human Resources Management. He completed a Master of Social Work degree at Portland State University. Cayle is passionate about social justice and equity. He is originally from Laos, born during the Laotian Civil War. Cayle spent the first three years of his life in a refugee camp before resettling in the United States with his parents. Cayle has over 15 years experience working for the Department of Human Services helping families experiencing poverty get back on their feet. Cayle currently works with community-based organizations advocating for immigrant rights and marginalized families. He is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending time with his family.
