REYNOLDS SCHOOL DISTRICT. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) Due 2:00 PM December 14th, 2015. Reynolds School District, School District No. 7, Multnomah County, Oregon seeks responses from qualified firms to perform Traffic Engineering Services related to the 2015 Reynolds School District Bond Program. Experienced firms are invited to submit a Request Proposal for consideration by the District.

The Reynolds School District is leading the way in using green building design to create healthier, more sustainable schools and save money in the process. The District has been working with sustainability specialists EcoREAL Solutions and Hodaie Engineering, project architects BLRB Architects, and owners representative Day CPM, to design and construct schools that require less energy and provide healthy environments that encourage better learning.

Reynolds School District officials hope a proposed $125 million bond measure will fund a healthy list of upgrades and complete rebuilds if passed by voters in May. The bond follows a long master planning process that prioritized district projects based on capacity, seismic conditions and more. The bond would rebuild Fairview, Wilkes and Troutdale elementary schools, add classrooms and renovate Reynolds High School and cover safety and security upgrades at multiple schools.
In response to multiple media requests, the district is releasing a map of a portion of Reynolds High School.
Superintendent Joyce Henstrand sent a letter to the staff and community after receiving notice that REA declared impasse in negotiations with the District.
Reynolds School District was notified by police on Sunday, September 3, 2017, of graffiti containing racial hate messages at Sweetbriar and Troutdale Elementary Schools.
Several neighbors from the Old Sweetbriar Farm Home Owner's Association joined Sweetbriar Principal Marie Marianello and her family in temporarily covering the graffiti with paint. Operations staff responded to cover the messages at Troutdale Elementary School.
The Reynolds School District staff returned to work on August 30, 2012. Most of the district's staff attended the convocation events.

Beginning on Monday, July 15, 2013 through Friday, August 9, 2013 children age 1-18 can receive breakfast and lunch for free. Funding for this program is provided by the USDA.
