At Reynolds Middle School, we hold fast to three fundamental guidelines: Relevance, Rigor and Relationships. We strive as a community of teachers, parents, and staff to offer our students a place where they will find rigorous academic standards. We hope to provide them with an education where they will find relevance in what they learn and the world around them. We work to provide a place where they can build strong, positive relationships with their peers and the community.
Mission: The RMS Family is built on relationships. We foster growth through collaborative, culturally-rich, relevant, and challenging instruction. We promote passionate learning to inspire productive members of humanity who positively contribute to a changing world.
Vision: The RMS Family will learn and grow as productive members of humanity by celebrating and building upon the richness of our community.
Reynolds School District has negotiated furlough days with all employee groups to offset budget reductions, minimize potential reductions to programs and services to students, and minimize potential reduction in force (RIF) of staff for the 2020-21 school year.
Qualifying employees will have their hours and RSD pay reduced by 20%-40% to be eligible for unemployment and federal CARES Act funds through the Oregon Work Share program.
