October 2017 Athlete of the Month

Kaitlyn Kruse (10), Cross Country

Kaitlyn won 12 out of 14 cross country dual meet races this fall. She was voted Mt. Hood Conference Runner of the Year honors. She placed first team All-Conference and qualified for the State Meet for the second year. Her 5K time of 19:03 is one second off of the school record and improved about 45 seconds from last year.  She is ranked second in conference by time. She is a tremendous Honors student and carries herself with such grace and integrity.

Frank Marcial (12), Soccer

Frank is an extremely talented athlete and the consummate team player. Whether it be practice or a game, Frank is always giving 110% effort. He sets an example to the other players by his commitment to everything Reynolds and is oh so proud to represent his school. He is always looking for ways to help the team be successful, and is fully committed to every event the team has. He is a mentor to the younger players and an encourager to the rest. He is an all-round super-Raider who was recently named 1st team All-Conference Midfielder.
