Reynolds School District has negotiated furlough days with all employee groups to offset budget reductions, minimize potential reductions to programs and services to students, and minimize potential reduction in force (RIF) of staff for the 2020-21 school year.
Qualifying employees will have their hours and RSD pay reduced by 20%-40% to be eligible for unemployment and federal CARES Act funds through the Oregon Work Share program.
RSD submits a weekly file with all eligible employees for the Work Share program. Due to this requirement, employees need to be aware of weekly reporting responsibilities.
While you will NOT report to the Oregon Employment Department (OED), RSD will need to gather weekly information from you. It is our goal to make this as simple as possible for you, while fulfilling our reporting obligation to OED.
Reynolds School District utilizes the "I Love U Guys" Standard Response Protocol to ensure that our students, staff, and administration are trained on how to react to various safety issues and emergency scenarios.
