The Center for Advanced Learning (CAL) will celebrate National Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) with a Makers Go Pro Event. This is one way CAL and Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership (OMEP) are teaming up with various education, workforce and manufacturing stakeholders across Oregon to host free educational events, tours and job fairs for high school students to learn about careers in manufacturing. MFG Day is designed to expand knowledge about high-skilled, high-paying jobs in the sector and the industry’s economic impact in Oregon and around the country.
Parent/teacher conferences will be held on October 20-21. (There will be no school October 19-21.) Students are bringing home conference schedule slips. Please fill the slip out and return it to school with your student. Our conferences are student led so be sure to bring your student with you!
