School Song: Our School In The Woods
Chorus:
It's our school in the woods,
With the trees all around,
And the hawks that soar up above!
It's our school in the woods,
Where the birds sing all day!
Woodland's the school that we love!
Verse 1:
We have desks in our classrooms,
But when the sun is out,
We have school in the wet lands,
With nature all about!

We are excited to announce that Fairview Elementary School is piloting Academic Parent-Teacher Teams in grades K, 1 and 2! We will meet with all parents of students in those grades on three separate evenings this year. At those meetings, teachers will share expectations about specific academic skills that students must master during the school year. They will also be sharing fun activities for parents to do with their children to assist them in acquiring those skills. We want every family to come and join us in this exciting learning journey!

The Academics department oversees the educational aspects of the district such as curriculum, assessments, and classroom technology.
Our Instructional Vision:
We believe that if we develop leadership capacity through innovative professional learning pathways focused on culturally and linguistically responsive instruction, then all students will have access to the content needed to graduate with the skills and confidence to thrive.
Our instruction is highly-personalized to each student's IEP and their individual goals. We are focused on increasing our student's skills so they can maximize their independence in adulthood.

At Reynolds Middle School, we hold fast to three fundamental guidelines: Relevance, Rigor and Relationships. We strive as a community of teachers, parents, and staff to offer our students a place where they will find rigorous academic standards. We hope to provide them with an education where they will find relevance in what they learn and the world around them. We work to provide a place where they can build strong, positive relationships with their peers and the community.
