Reynolds High School

Last Saturday, April 30, 2016, three RHS instrumental students competed in the annual OSAA Solo Music Championships on the campus of Pacific University in Forest Grove. 

The Art Department is proud to present the winners for the Best Overall Artwork in the 2016 Reynolds Art Auction:

12th grade, Karina Marin, "Guitar"

11th grade, Sophia Lopez, "The World"

10th grade, Daniel Gomez, "The Owl"

9th grade, Kristine Sandwith, "Carmichael the Subumpkin"

The Raiders Racquetball team had a fantastic season this year!   
 
Our team proudly represented Reynolds at the State Tournament February 1st - 5th and finished strong.  All but one player placed in their division and the team finish 6th in the State for Boys.  We really need some girls in our team next year!  
 
Justin Juul ended the tournament at #2 in the State, moving up from 5th place last year.
 

Congratulations to Kadyn Jones and Jesus Ortiz, our October Jeff Weins Athletes of the Month!

Kadyn Jones (12), Volleyball -  She’s accumulated over 93 aces this season, 55 of which came in October. She has the highest kill % at .361, 2nd in digs with 204 for October. Her GPA stands at a phenomenal un-weighted 3.86. She is an integral part of the Raider community as a 3 year member of Link Crew, ASB officer, RALC member, CORE team leader, and much more. 

POWER is a set of schoolwide academic expectations designed to support every student at Reynolds throughout all four years of high school.
