IRCO’s BASS program is a culturally specific program that supports Black African/American immigrant students in improving their academic achievement by addressing issues such as:  

  • Attendance, chronic absenteeism
  • Disproportionate discipline
  • Family engagement
  • Key transitions from elementary to middle school, middle to high school, and high school to post-secondary
