School Board and Community Members Celebrating Resolution 2016_17.003 Proclaiming Indigenous Peoples' Day

The Reynolds School Board approved a resolution, which proclaims the second Monday of October as Indigenous Peoples' Day. This is a time to honor the indigenous peoples' of the earth and the nations' first peoples, who inhabited the land prior to the United States becoming a nation. Reynolds School District serves students with indigenous heritage and honors the cultures and backgrounds that students and families offer the rich fabric of a learning environment.


Final water test results were posted online at 4:47pm.  Click Here to Move to Results at bottom of this page. The unit ug/L is equivalent to parts per billion. The EPA has established action levels of 20ppb for schools. Municipal water sources action levels are set by the EPA at 15 parts per billion or ug/L.

The drinking water testing results were received as of Wednesday, August 10.

A number of practices will be put into place:

The 2016-2017 school year will have "Late Start Mondays" instead of early release. Starting September 12, 2016 through June 12, 2017, every Monday that school is in session there will be late start for all schools in the district. 

This means that school will start 1 hour and 10 minutes after the regular start time.

The Reynolds Education Foundation offers mini-grants of up to $250 per staff member. Partner Agencies are also welcome to apply.  Applications are due at 4:15pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the district offices. (Fax and email submissions are not accepted.)
