Oregon PERS:

PERS stands for Public Employees Retirement System. This is a state operated pension program for public employees which both Employees and their Employers contribute to. After a six (6) month waiting period, a deduction of 6% of your gross wages will be contributed from your paycheck to your PERS account. Reynolds matches this percentage at 5.86% which funds retirement benefits, death benefits, and administrative expenses. These percentages are determined and updated by the PERS Board every even numbered year going in to effect every odd numbered year. Linked below are some additional resources to understanding PERS and its benefits.

Earned Income Tax Credit Notice: Some employees may be eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC or EIC), a benefit for working people with low to moderate income and particularly those with children. The EIC reduces the amount of tax owed and may provide a refund.
