Now that the school year has wrapped up, construction is moving into the final stretch. Learn about summer work, the demolition and abatement process, and what to expect next year for the new elementary schools and the Reynolds renovation project in the end-of-year construction updates.
Innovative playgrounds at the three new elementary schools will teach kids about the local landscape and other educational topics. Among the network of slides, walkways, monkey bars and other interactive features, each playground will have eleven custom-designed educational panels focused on aspects of the students’ environment and community. The unique playground designs come from the imaginations of Portland-based father and son team, Wildwood Playgrounds.
