Mathematics Standards

The state of Oregon adopted new state standards and a new state testing system in 2014. Our teachers have worked collaboratively to identify the Priority Standards in Mathematics at each grade level. These standards represent the guaranteed content. That means that every child receives in depth instruction in each of these standards. Within the standards are what are called "criteria for success". We assess students' abilities within the standard based on these success criteria.

Living History Day

Living History Day is a day to celebrate and honor veterans from the community.

Rooter Bus

It is tradition to schedule a Rooter Bus to a pre-conference away football game.  Participating students are given a T-shirt, dinner, a ride and entry to the game.  Rooter Bus destinations have included Liberty, Sunset, Madison, Franklin, McKay, Clackamas prior to Mt. Hood Conference membership.  The cost is under $10 per student.  Students with ASB receive a discount for the event.

Homecoming Week

Homecoming is a week welcoming new and returning Raiders.  The week kicks off with an assembly, introducing our sports teams and spirit day themes.  The week long festivities include bonfire, dance, football half time entertainment, homecoming court assembly and a tailgate. Vendors are on campus for the tailgate and bon fire.

The Bon Fire is private event for current RHS students and staff.  Guest passes are available in the front office for the dance.

Raider Trader

Pick up T-shirts, beverages and Raider swag at the student store.  Raider Trader is open daily during both lunches.  The store is managed by Student Leadership students.  Proceeds are used to reduce the cost to students at events such as tailgates and Raider Rumble.

January Troutdale Construction Update

Update from Bremik Construction
January 25, 2018

"Happy New Year, Tigers! We have been very busy out here building your new school. A temporary roof has been placed over the gym and the stage to keep it dry so the weather barrier can be applied and the brick design can be placed on the outside. Plywood on the roof is being set in the classroom pod areas and once that is complete, another temporary roof will be installed so our crews can begin work on the building’s “skin”. We call it the skin of the building because it is the outside layer of the building that protects the inside, just like the skin on your body does for you!"
