Last Saturday, April 30, 2016, three RHS instrumental students competed in the annual OSAA Solo Music Championships on the campus of Pacific University in Forest Grove. We are so proud of these students' accomplishments!
The 2022 Reynolds High School Yearbook Distribution Party will be held on Wednesday, August 24th, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM in the Arts Building Lobby.
March 8 th, 2019 Reynolds High School hosted the school's first Spanish language only dance. Abajo del Sol, the name of the event, was the brainchild of several Latino student government and leadership students. These students worked tirelessly planning the event with the schools administration. All the hard work paid off as over 250 students were treated to a dazzlingly decorated MPR, and the musical talents of local music group Banda Ciclon Del Pacifico. Congratulations to Harley West and Leia Braich, our September Jeff Weins Athletes of the Month!
Leia Braich (12), Soccer - Senior Captain and starting goalkeeper Leia Braich had a great September. She played brilliantly in goal and had a streach of three games where she only allowed one goal while cumulatively saving over 20 shots. She also scored her first high school goal (RARE for starting goalkeepers) in a 3-3 match against McKay when she got some rare minutes on the field.

College access professionals will be at RHS from 12:30-2:30 PM on Friday, January 10th to help seniors with college-related activities.

Two Reynolds students, Olivia Hall Gomez and Moira Salchenberg, competed at the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference at the Oregon National Guard Camp Withycombe military base. Both students competed in the Job Skill Demonstration Open. Moira's demonstration of crocheting scored 5th place and Olivia's demonstration of porosity took scored 1st place. Olivia explained porosity (the hair's ability to retain moisture), identified types of porosity, how to test for porosity, and described how to select hair products for hair with a particular porosity.
