Spencer Chao
A graduate of John Marshall High School (Portland, OR), Spencer enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after the events of September 11, 2001. Upon completing the Marine Corps Logistics/Embarkation Specialist Course as the top student, he was assigned to HQCO 7th Marines Regiment in Twentynine Palms, CA, deploying twice to Iraq for Operations Iraqi Freedom (2003) and Enduring Freedom (2004). Spencer's occupational background varies from housekeeping, food service, retail, and rail loading. He is currently a sales and project manager of digital cinema equipment as well as a licensed and appointed representative with the largest financial services marketing organization in North America. “When our students move on from our schools - whether it be going into higher education, take on a trade, enlist in our armed forces, volunteer, start a business, or go straight into the work force - I want them to be prepared, competent and confident individuals.”
