Below is a link to a website that contains activities that will help your student practice the foundational skills required to move from his/her current reading level to the next level.
Reading is important and the only way to get better is to practice.

To keep progressing as a reader, it is very important to read at home every night. The goal should be 30 minutes per night at your independent reading level. If you are a yellow, green, blue, or 1 Red reader, it is fine to have a family member read to you for 15 of those minutes.

On June 5, 2012, the retirees were honored at a reception in the library at Woodland Elementary School.
This club helps students prepare for helping in various events, such as learning CPR and basic First Aid training.
The club will meet every other Wednesday, from 3:55pm-5:00pm, in room 124.

For the 2024-25 academic year, enrollment is required for all students, whether registering a new student or verifying a returning one. This year, instead of in-person enrollment days at the schools, you can enroll your child online through ParentVUE or by completing a verification form (available at the school's office).
