Adult volunteers are necessary to support students in this transformative learning experience.  Each day we need 50 adults who can volunteer for one full day to work with students and staff. The dates we need volunteers are: November 5, 6, 7 and November 19, 20, and 21. Volunteer screening takes a few days, so call (503) 491-3428 or email today if you want to volunteer for Challenge Day.

Troutdale Elementary

There have been five reports of students at Troutdale Elmentary having chicken pox. Three cases have been confirmed by health care providers.  Multnomah County Communicable Disease Services have been notified and an advisory letter has been sent home to alert parents of the possible exposure and instruction for monitoring for symptoms of chicken pox.

Parents should inspect their child’s skin daily and monitor temperature through December 29, 2015. Children who develop a rash need to be kept home to prevent the spread of chicken pox.
