S-EBT Program Information

The deadline to apply for Summer EBT is September 1, 2026.

What is Oregon Summer EBT (S-EBT)?

Summer EBT (SEBT) is a grocery benefits program. It helps families buy food for their school-aged children when school is out. Starting  June 1, 2026, families with eligible children will get one payment of $120 on an Oregon EBT card for each eligible child to buy groceries. Unused Summer EBT benefits expire 122 days after issuance.

 

Families may automatically receive Summer EBT in 2026 if:
Your child got benefits for 2025 through an approved application. Or, your child experienced one of the following anytime during the 2025-26 school year:

  • SNAP food benefits
  • TANF cash assistance
  • Medicaid and your household has income under 185% of the federal poverty level
  • Foster care
  • Attending a school that participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP) and meet household income requirements.

 

Families may need to apply if:

  • Your household meets the income requirements for free or reduced-price meals at school, AND
  • Your child attends a school that participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP).

Key Dates

  • June 5, 2026: Benefits begin issuing for families who are automatically eligible.
  • June 5, 2026: Online application opens.
  • September 1, 2026: Application deadline.

The Summer EBT Call Center Call Center opens Friday, June 5th to answer Summer EBT related questions.

  • Call Center Number: 1-833-ORE-SEBT (1-833-673-7328) 
  • The Call Center will be available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., PDT. 
  • Call Center agents will be able to assist customers in English and Spanish. For other languages an interpreter service will be provided.
