Career fairs and trades days are an essential part of career-connected learning. Students who participate in career exploration can start planning for their post-high lives and careers and figure out what it takes to prepare for life after high school as they get closer to realizing their post-high goals.
As we look to next school year, a number of priorities have been identified. In addition to academic achievement, communication with families, and student attendance, many have indicated school safety as a top priority. Reynolds students, families, staff, and community have expressed student safety issues in the school building as well as the surrounding campus. As we develop specific strategies, hire additional staff, and devote new resources to improve student safety, family input is imperative to the process.
As we look ahead to next school year, several changes are underway to improve instruction and the academic supports provided to our students. One of the ways we will do this is through the bell schedule. We are pleased to announce that we will shift to a block class schedule starting in the 2023-2024 school year.
