In General, The Reynolds School District is renovating existing building "G" and "H" on their Edgefield Campus. The work will include converting the two buildings of approximately 4,115 square feet each to evaluation rooms, training rooms and office space to support the school districts job training, life skills and employment skills program for individuals with special needs. The Contact scope of work will include without limitation construction, demolition, renovation, hazardous material removal, and site work.

Bids for the RSD Edgefield Campus Building ‘H’ – Post High and Building “G” – Early Childhood Evaluation Team will be received by Ms. Rachel Hopper of the Reynolds School District at the DMC Lab of the District Offices at 1204 N.E. 201st Avenue, Fairview, Oregon until 2:00 PM PDST, on the specific dates listed above. Bids received after the time fixed for the opening will not be considered.

Bidders are to submit bids on bid forms provided in the specifications.
A bidder’s conference has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on January 7, 2014 at the location of 2408 SW Halsey Street Troutdale, OR 97060. All general contract bidders are invited. Representatives of Architect will be in attendance. Information relevant to the Bid Documents will be recorded in an Addendum, issued to Bid Document recipients.
The provisions of the Oregon Revised statutes 279.348 through 279.380, relating to prevailing wage rates, are applicable to the work under this contract. The contractor, its subcontractors, if any, and all employers working under the contract will be subject employers under the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Law, and shall comply with ORS 656.017, which requires them to provide workers’ compensation coverage for all their subject workers.
The bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a “Resident Bidder” as defined in ORS 279.029. The Contractor must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board prior to the bid opening in accordance with ORS 701.055.
Reynolds School District reserves its rights as follows:
To reject any or all bids;
To not consider a bid unless the bidder is registered with the Construction Contractors Board as required by ORS 279.025.
To reject any bid that takes exception to specifications or to contract terms unless the right to take exceptions is specifically granted in the Invitation to Bid.
To postpone award of the contract for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening.
To add to the price by non-resident bidders, an increase equal to the percent preference that the non-resident bidder’s home state would give its in-state bidders.
To reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding by the Owner that it is in the public interest to do so.
To waive, at the Owner’s sole discretion, minor irregularities or discrepancies in any or all bids.
