REA Negotiations Update for First Meeting

The third bargaining session between Reynolds Education Association (REA) and Reynolds School District (RSD) was held on May 24, 2017 at the Oregon Education Association (OEA) Office in Gresham from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Proposals were presented as follows:

Reynolds School District offered counter proposals on:

• Article 4 - Association Rights and Privileges
• Article 5 – Employee Rights
• Article 11 – Vacancies

REA offered counter proposals on:

• Article 3 – Miscellaneous
• Article 8 - Emergency Closure

Tentative Agreement was reached on:

• Article 3 – Miscellaneous
• Article 4 - Association Rights and Privileges
• Article 8 - Emergency Closure
• Article 11 – Vacancies

Next Bargaining Session:

June 1, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Woodland Elementary School Library.

June 12, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Oregon Education Association (OEA) office in Gresham.
