REA Negotiations Update for First Meeting
June 1, 2017

The fourth bargaining session between Reynolds Education Association (REA) and Reynolds School District (RSD) was held on June 1, 2017 at the Woodland Elementary School Library from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Proposals were presented as follows:

Reynolds School District offered a counter proposal on:

• Article 13 – Academic Freedom

REA offered counter proposals on:

• Article 5 – Employee Rights
• Article 15 – Unpaid Leaves of Absence

Tentative Agreement was reached on:

• Article 13 – Academic Freedom

Next Bargaining Session:

June 12, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Oregon Education Association (OEA) office in Gresham.

Future Bargaining Calendar:

June 26, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Oregon Education Association (OEA) office in Gresham.
