District Calls for Mediation with REA
On October 7, 2011, Reynolds School District Board called for mediation services after eight sessions without agreement on any articles. The Board believes that a mediator will help us resolve our differences.
As of October 27, 2011 the following Oregon School Districts are involved in Mediation with one of their employee associations:

* Parkrose School District - Licensed and Classified (Scheduling Mediation)
* Coos Bay School District - Classified (Scheduled for Mediation)
* Pleasant Hill School District - Licensed (Scheduled for Mediation)
* Greater Albany School District - Classified (Scheduled for Mediation)
* Gresham-Barlow School District - Licensed (Scheduled for Mediation)
* McKenzie School District - Licensed (Scheduled for Mediation)
* St. Helens School District - Licensed (Since 9/14/2011)
* Grants Pass School District - Licensed (Since 8/22/2011)
* Phoenix - Talent School District - Licensed (Since 7/11/201)
* Glendale School District - Licensed (Since 6/16/2011)
Mediation provides a non-binding, neutral third party to assist in resolving differences. The District called for mediation after eight bargaining sessions without reaching agreement on any articles.
