Delayed Start Date for Fairview Elementary, Troutdale Elementary, and Wilkes Elementary (only)

Fairview Elementary, Troutdale Elementary, and Wilkes Elementary Families:

The top priority of the District is keeping our students and staff safe.  With this in mind, we are delaying the start of classes by one day to Wednesday, September 5th, to give our teachers and staff time to make sure the campus is clean, safe, and ready to welcome our students after a summer of construction.  Kindergarten gradual starts will also be delayed by one day with Kindergarten students with last names beginning with A-M starting on Wednesday, September 5th and not attending Thursday, September 6th.  Kindergarten students with last names beginning with N-Z start on Thursday, September 6th and all kindergarten students attend on Friday, September 7th. 
 
We thank you for your patience and understanding.  We look forward to welcoming your students to the new school starting on Wednesday, September 5th.

La principal prioridad del Distrito es mantener seguros a nuestros estudiantes y personal. Con esto en mente;  para dar tiempo a nuestros maestros y personal y asegurarnos de que la escuela esté limpia, segura y lista para recibir a nuestros estudiantes después de un verano de construcción estamos retrasando el inicio de clases por un día.  Las clases comenzarán el miércoles, 5 de septiembre.  Los comienzos graduales de kínder también se retrasarán un día;  así que los estudiantes de kínder cuyos apellidos comienzan con las letras  A a la M tendrán su primer día de clases el miércoles, 5 de septiembre y no asistirán el jueves, 6 de septiembre. Los estudiantes de Kindergarten con apellidos que comiencen con las letras  en N a la Z comienzan el día jueves, 6 de septiembre y todos los estudiantes de kindergarten asistirán el día viernes, 7 de septiembre.
