Ahmed Ibrahim: Nominated as Oregonian's High School Athlete of the Week

The Oregonian has announced the candidates for the High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 13-19, 2013.

Ahmed Ibrahim, Reynolds cross country is one of the finalists. The Raiders senior easily won a four-way meet involving Central Catholic, David Douglas and Barlow by covering 5,000 meters in 15 minutes, 28.6 seconds at Fernhill Park. Ibrahim has finished first in five of six meets this season.
