There is a FREE youth empowerment workshop at MLA Middle School on Saturday, October 18th from 11 AM-3 PM. Program focus is personal growth, happiness, and the power of community. Participants get free lunch, free t-shirts, and free raffle tickets while having a blast learning with peers.

El sábado 18 de octubre, de 11:00 a 15:00, se ofrecerá un taller GRATUITO de empoderamiento juvenil en la Escuela Secundaria MLA. El programa se centra en el crecimiento personal, la felicidad y el poder de la comunidad. Los participantes recibirán almuerzo, camisetas y boletos para la rifa, mientras se divierten aprendiendo con sus compañeros.

Do you need credit recovery for Algebra 1 or language arts? The first after school credit recovery class starts on Tuesday, October 14 and will be Monday through Thursdays from 4-5pm until November 20th. Come get a form to sign up in the counseling office and return the signed form by Thursday, October 9th. Questions? See Ms. Young or your counselor!

La primera clase de recuperación de créditos extraescolar comienza el martes 14 de octubre y se impartirá de lunes a jueves de 4 a 5 p. m. hasta el 20 de noviembre.
