Hall of Fame Class of 2013

The Reynolds School District Hall of Fame is proud to announce the inductees to the class of 2013.

Mike DeBois (1962-1966): Mike was a three-sport standout in football, basketball and track and field. During his senior year, he earned all-conference honors as a quarterback and safety on the 1965 state runner-up football team. Mike went on to compete in football and track and field at Lewis and Cla
Mike Galloway (1969-2003): Mike was a highly successful coach of multiple sports at all three of the district’s high schools. He is one of the few coaches to have the distinction of serving as a Lancer, Charger and Raider.
Jerry Kalapus (1961-1995): Jerry's boys' tennis teams won numerous conference titles over several decades. He is also a beloved teacher who still works as a substitute in the Reynolds School District and in 2012 was named Oregon’s Substitute Teacher of the Year. 
Wendell Wetzel (1978-1982): Wendell was a state champion gymnast at Columbia High School. He won multiple individual state titles as he led the Chargers to Columbia's first state team title in 1982. Wendell went on to compete at Brigham Young University.
The 1965 Football Team: Under the direction of Dutch Kawasoe, the Lancers won the Wilco League title and ran their record to a perfect 11 - 0 before falling to David Douglas in state championship game 13 - 20. The squad was led by a number of all-state players, including the legendary, Butch Woodward, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012
