Reynolds School District has partnered with the Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE) to provide surveys to all families with students in Reynolds Schools, students in grades 4–12, and school staff members. The surveys will be active March 18 - April 26, 2024.
Raider Spring Carnival is back! From March 22-31, 2024
Visit OMSI for free! March 12, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Transportation will be provided. Children must have an adult with them at all times. More information coming out soon!

First semester report cards are now available in Parent/StudentVUE.
Open the "Report Card" tab in Parent/StudentVUE and Select "Semester 1” in grading period to view your 1st semester report card. Report cards may include additional information such as teacher comments. You can also view your student’s updated transcript by clicking the “Documents” tab. Thank you for your support!
Wilkes is in Reynolds School District. When you are listening to news reports on radio and TV regarding school closures because of inclement weather, watch and listen for Reynolds School District. You can also download the Flash Alert app to get all emergency notifications from Reynolds School District. If you click on the Parent tab and then on Delays and Closures, it will take you to the page to get Flash Alert. Notices will also be sent via ParentSquare.
Welcome Back Hartley Hornets! The new year is starting out with some changes in transportation. Due to bus overcrowding the RSD transportation department has added an additional bus for Hartley. Please take a close look at the Hartley bus schedule linked below, as some routes and times have changed. The changes will be effective Thursday, January 4th.

Hello Hartley families,
Our school qualifies for Title 1 federal education funding through the Elementary and Secondary Education Act as amended (2015). This act requires that teachers and paraprofessionals meet state and local certification and licensure. A paraprofessional provides academic or other support for students under the direct supervision of a teacher.
This attached notice provides information about the professional qualifications requirements for staff at our school as of 09/30/2023 for the 2023-2024 school year.

The Oregon Department of Education continues to update and revise Health Education standards, including Sexuality Education. The School Board adopted the use of The Great Body Shop in grades K-8 for all Health instruction.
In compliance with Board Policy (IGAI) Reynolds provides an age-appropriate comprehensive plan of Health instruction.
Career fairs and trades days are an essential part of career-connected learning. Students who participate in career exploration can start planning for their post-high lives and careers and figure out what it takes to prepare for life after high school as they get closer to realizing their post-high goals.
We are excited to be back for the 2023-2024 School year!. Those of us in the Health Room want to remind families to ensure that your student is well enough for school before sending them. Attached, you'll find the Oregon Health Authority guidelines that we follow here at school. Please refer to them everyday before sending your student to school. Together we can make a big difference to prevent the spread of illness. Please call school office for absences 503-666-9441.

Sweetbriar Health Room
Late start Monday's begin on 09/11/23. School starts at 10:30am, and doors open at 10:15am for breakfast. Buses will arrive 1 hour and 10 minutes later than usual. Please see the attached bus schedule for exact times.
Late Start will happen every Monday through the end of the school year. Please see the attached calendar for additional information.
Welcome Back to the 23-24 school year! Our Wilkes families do not need to purchase school supplies. The school will be providing school supplies this year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the office.
The first day of school is Tuesday, Sept. 5. We have new school hours this year. The school opens at 8:35, instructional day begins at 8:50, dismissal is at 3:20.
Letters will be sent out this week with information regarding your student's teacher and bus route. We look forward to seeing you all next week!!

Monday Late Start 10:30am-3:50pm (doors open for breakfast at 10:15am)
