Sweetbriar Elementary Third Graders Host Sole Hope Shoe Cutting Party: Making Shoes for Uganda

Students from Sweetbriar Elementary School have been working on building capacity for compassion outreach this year. The fourth event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 20015 at 6 to 7pm in the cafeteria at Sweetbriar Elementary School, which is located at 501 SE Sweetbriar Lane in Troutdale, Oregon.

The third graders are hosting a shoe cutting party, which entails cutting patterns. If you want to attend please bring scissors to cut fabric and milk cartons (plastic kind).   The materials will be donated to Sole Hope, a charity that provides support to orphans and widows in Uganda, Africa.
