Summer Meal Program Scheduled to Run During a Strike

Strike Information for Parents

In the event of a teacher strike, the District will not hold regular school, but school sites around the district will host the summer meal program to provide free meals to students.

The summer meal program will start on Wednesday, May 23 and run through June 13 or the end of the strike. The meal program will run from 11 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.

Any child age 0-18 will be fed lunch at all summer meal program sites. Transportation will not be provided.

Fairview Elementary School, 225 Main St., Fairview
Glenfair Elementary School, 15300 NE Glisan St., Portland

Programa de Comidas de Verano

En caso de una huelga de maestros, el distrito no tendrá clases regulares, pero algunas escuelas del distrito tendrán programa de comidas de verano para proveer comidas gratis a los estudiantes.

El programa de comidas de verano comenzará el miércoles 23 de mayo y continuará hasta el 13 de junio o hasta el final de la huelga. El horario de comidas de verano será de lunes a viernes de 11:00 am hasta el medio día.

Cualquier niño en edades de 0 a 18 años podrá comer el almuerzo en todas las escuelas que conduzcan el programa de comidas de verano. No se proveerá transporte.
