Related Services

Reynolds School District provides the following Related Services for all students who meet eligibility criteria:

Assistive Technology Service

Assistive Technology is any piece of equipment used to remove barriers to student achievement. Assistive Technology must be considered for every student with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Areas of consideration include Seating, Positioning and Mobility, Communication, Computer Access, Motor Aspects of Writing, Composition of Written Material, Reading, Mathematics, Organization, Recreation and Leisure, Vision, and Hearing.
 

Physical Therapy Services

Physical therapy assists with student safety, access, and functional mobility/activities that are therapeutically appropriate in a school setting as well as adaptations to the school environment that promote attainment of educational goals.
 

Occupational Therapy Services

OT provides services to help students access their education and increase their independence. This service typically includes: consultation with staff and/or direct service with students, developing modifications and adaptations for the school relating to the fine motor, visual motor and sensory motor performance of the student.
 

Autism Support Services

The Autism TOSA provides consultation, training, assistance with evaluations, and coaching and modeling for staff working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Services provided include:
1. Assistance with initial evaluations and complex three-year evaluations
2. Training for staff working with students with ASD
3. Coaching and modeling of staff working with students with ASD
4. Consultation regarding curriculum, interventions, use of visual supports, and other research-based interventions
 

Speech and Language Services

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and SLP assistants support students with speech and communication needs across the district.
