Are you interested in applying for an internship or volunteer opportunity?

Consider these questions...

  • What are your interests, strengths, abilities, aptitudes and personal values?
  • How far are you willing to travel to get to your internship site?
  • Do you have the time and transportation to get to your internship site?
  • What do you want to get out of the internship?
  • What skills do you have that will benefit the organization?
  • Are you doing something you love? Like? Dislike? Hate?! Perform meaningful activities that spark your interest and are in line with your hobbies and ultimate goals.
  • Check with local businesses and ask if they are offering any internships or work experience/volunteer hours for high school students.
  • Ask if you can do a job shadow or an informational interview with someone who works in a field that you're interested in.

Where can I go to volunteer?
