Winter Sports 2025-2026

GIRLS BASKETBALL 2026 

Practices: 2 Days A Week, 3:15 pm- 5 pm in the Main Gym (Example - If games are Monday & Wednesday, practice will be Tuesday & Thursday.) starting Tuesday, January 27, 2026. There will be no Friday practices. Parent pick up is at the front of the building. Please be on time.

Academic Expectation: Grades will be checked once per week; a C or Better in all classes to participate. If you fail a class, you will sit out in a game until your grades have improved, or arrange an agreement with your teacher and coach. 

Behavior Expectations: All student-athletes are expected to represent themselves, their teammates, their coaches, and the school community well; this means meeting school-wide expectations, including but not limited to using appropriate language, showing respect to peers and adults, and always doing their best. A major referral or discipline may impact playing time or removal from the team. 

Attendance: Please excuse all absences from school and practice with the attendance office and coaches. All practices are mandatory. Unexcused absence and tardiness from class will result in limited playing time and or sitting out a game.

WRESTLING 2026

• BEGINS ON MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2026

• MUST BE CLEARED THROUGH FINAL FORMS BEFORE PRACTICING! (SEE LINK BELOW)

• NEED TO BE PICKED UP IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL BY 5:15 PM

• IT IS A NO-CUT SPORT

• TYPICALLY ONE MEET PER WEEK (6 PM START TIME) WITH WRESTLERS GETTING 2-3 MATCHES AGAINST OTHER WRESTLERS IN THE SAME WEIGHT GROUPING

• NEED SWEATS OR SHORTS FOR PRACTICE - NO JEANS ON THE MAT

• THERE ARE BUSES TO AWAY MEETS AND HOME AFTERWARD, OR WRESTLERS MAY GO HOME WITH PARENTS (PLEASE CHECK OUT BEFORE LEAVING)

• END-OF-YEAR TOURNAMENT (MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW)

THERE ARE TWO TEAMS (7TH AND 8TH), TANNER SMITH AND NATHAN SCHMITT ARE THE COACHES.
