November 2018 Athlete of the Month

Congratulations to Jayla Dieter and Jaden Hawkinson, our November Jeff Wiens Athletes of the Month!

Jayla Dieter (10), Water Polo

Jayla was named first team All-Mt. Hood Conference and second team All-State this year as a sophomore. She was the team’s leading scorer and led the girls to the state semifinals. Jayla works on being a leader and a role model even though she is one of the youngest girls on the team. She plays to win and is always a team player, first.

Jaden Hawkinson (12), Football

Jaden was the catalyst for the success of the football team this season. As the QB he was tough, focused, and a steadfast leader. Jaden was second in the conference in touchdown passes (17) and 3rd in the conference in total rushing yards, as a quarterback. In the state of Oregon, Jaden was in the top 5 of quarterbacks for rushing. He was also selected honorable mention All-Mt. Hood Conference. Off the field Jaden embodies what it means to be a student-athlete. He serves on the Raider Athletic Leadership Council, maintains a 3.15 GPA, and is a constant example of what it means to be a Raider. Without Jaden’s leadership and dedication, the football program would not have had the success it did this fall.
