March 2018 Athlete of the Month

Vanessa Smoke (10), Softball

Vanessa is our starting 2nd basemen and our number 3 hitter. Her batting average is over .600 and with that has the majority of our RBIs. Her work ethic and dedication to the game of softball, to her school work, to her family and to her friends is like no one else. Her GPA is a 4.0. She strives to be the very best in everything she does and that’s what separates her from the rest. Vanessa deserves to be recognized not only for her performance on the field but for her leadership in the classroom as well.

Emeka Egbo (11), Track & Field

After putting in hundreds of miles in the off season, we now have a top varsity runner who is winning varsity races! He is big time, trains like a monster and makes it fun for everyone to show up each day. Emeka is a sweet kid and very, very deserving.
