February 2018 Athlete of the Month

Alexia Pham (11), Basketball

Alexia is a first-year varsity player and started every game this season. She also served as the team captain. Alexia was an extension of the coaching staff off the floor, organizing team meals and meetings. Her competitive nature and willingness to help others is very important to the program. In the classroom, Alexia excels with a 3.68 weighted GPA.

Kiandre Hewett (12), Basketball

Kiandre is one of three captains on the team. He averaged 10 points a game and led the team in rebounding, free throw percentage (85%) and field goal percentage. He was second on the team in assists. He scored 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the team’s victory over Gresham. Kiandre was selected Honorable Mention for the Mt. Hood Conference and will be the team’s Raider Award Recipient. Kiandre is a tremendous student and is heavily involved with student government and leadership at Reynolds.
