Earn a Computer!

Plug in to Portland - earn a computer by volunteering!

Do you live or go to school in the portland area? Do you need a computer? Have you volutneered 24 hours in the past year? If so, you're eligible to receive a free computer from Free Geek! Here's what you need to do:

1. Volunteer for 24 hours

If you are a K-12 Student, you may volunteer at any non-profit or community organization, including Free Geek. If you have volunteered as a requirement for school, these hours also count. Students in families can pool their hours.

2. Apply Online

Please apply online after logging your volunteer hours. To apply, please visit: www.freegeek.org/plun-into-portland

​3. Attend a class at Free Geek

The class will teach you how to use your new computer and will guarantee you one year of free tech support. Once you submit a complete application and your volunteer hours have been confirmed, we will contact you with your class time and date. Applicants will be considered on a first come/first served basis.

4. Take your computer home!
