SIX the Musical!
Reynolds High School Theatre is excited to present Six the Musical: Teen Edition written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. This international sensational new musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over. From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a high energy celebration of 21st-century girl power! Each queen experienced tragedy from: divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. The musical is a competition where the six wives of Henry VIII—Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr—perform as if they are in a reality show that is structured like a pop concert. It culminates with the six women forming a pop group and singing about their "reimagined" lives, which are much more positive than their historical outcomes.
