Big Fish's Big Announcement

On Saturday, February 4, 28 RHS theatre students attended the Northeast Regional acting competition, this year hosted by Rex Putnam High School.  It was a wonderful learning experience for all of our students, and we had some great performances and technical entries.  Several of our students received honors as well!

In addition to individual honors, we are pleased to announce that our fall musical, Big Fish, has been selected to perform at the Oregon State Thespian Festival.  Only 2 shows from around the state are invited to perform, so this is an incredible honor for the 70+ student actors, technicians and musicians who were involved in this show.  We will begin rehearsing again on February 27 and will hold a free performance in our auditorium on Tuesday, April 4 at 7 pm.  We will perform at the Thespian Festival in Salem on the evening of April 6.  In fact, Big Fish is the event that will kick off the festival!
